Nicolle F. from Brazil in Elaine Lyon’s Alexandria, VA cluster.

Nicolle is spending her year on program in Alexandria, VA.  She has been very active not only attending all the cluster meetings and helping out new au pairs,  but she also volunteers every weekend at the church Sunday school. In addition she has done three Global Awareness presentations!  We have featured her in the blog about the Girl Scouts World Thinking Day and when she presented at International Night at one of the local schools.  Nicolle has also traveled to New York, Philadelphia, Delaware and is planning a trip to Puerto Rico.  She is having a wonderful year and is extending for another year with her host family.

What is an Au Pair in America Explorer?

These are au pairs who embrace all aspects of the au pair program (volunteering, attending monthly cluster activities, attending webinars, discovering new places) and for those going above and beyond, sharing their culture through Global Awareness.
