“What is Peace?”
Peace? What is it?
We live in the world where you can’t even say your own opinions. In the world where you’ll decide to show you don’t agree with law made by others or you will stand against something and people are going to hate you for that. They will have their own war against you and those who are standing by your side…
Why? Why is violence everywhere? Why should people be judge just because of the tone of their skin or their gender or religion?
We can see violence everywhere for lots of reasons. People are dying because they are not white or because they are not black. They are dying because out of there are people who saying they trust in their God and they kill in name of their God. They don’t care what is your skin color or your religion or your age or your origin. They just simply don’t care. Nowadays you can’t even send your kid to school and be sure he will come home. Nowadays even kid can kill. It seems like safe place doesn’t exist. It seems like war is everywhere…
So how can we answer for that question? How can we say what is peace? We don’t know peace in the world. We don’t know how does it look like.
We can try to fight for peace but will it be enough? Will I change the world if I will shout out to the world my opinions? If I will stand against those who see only solution in war and violence?
Maybe the only thing we can do is to pray for better world for our children and their children. Maybe we have to just have faith in peace and maybe one they it will come to our world. Maybe someone would be able to say what Peace is…
