Colombian au pair Manuela P. used the Global Awareness program to teach Spanish to a group of 4 year olds. The pre-school is at Eagle Church in Allison Franklin Oestreich’s Zionsville, IN cluster.
Manuela taught the 22 pre-schoolers how to sing the months of the year, how to say hello, bye, and thank you. They also made Colombian flags with tissue paper.
Manuela said that she loved the experience and that even though she’s really shy, it was a great way to practice her English.
