German Au Pair Doreen K., from Robin Leon’s Austin, TX cluster recently traveled to Honolulu with her host family. During their visit they went to a Luau and Doreen was chosen to get on stage and learn to Hula dance!
Doreen says: “The luau was awesome! It was typical Hawaiian/Polynesian music and dancing. I learned that typical Hawaiian dancing includes telling a story with your hands whereas typical Polynesian dancing involves a lot of hip shaking. It was amazing! Wish I could go back!”
