Lisa Burger, community counselor in Connecticut submitted these great pictures of the International Kid’s Tent at the 5th annual Only You Foundation 5k. While the parents run, their children get to hang out at the kid’s tent. The tent is set up like a mini cultural fair and the children get passports and go from table to table to learn about the countries. This year 5 countries were represented- Germany, France, China, UK, and Brazil.
The Only You Foundation was started by a former host family in memory of their son, who passed away. The foundation raises money for children with special needs. The family no longer has an au pair, but three of their former au pairs came back to help with the race.
