I am Julia a German Au Pair in NYC.
In the beginning of august 2015 I took the bus and spend a weekend in Washington DC. I enjoyed walking through the capital to discover all the old buildings like the Capitol or Washington monument. I was excited to see the White House, because my grandma always told me that she saw it when she was in the United States 1955.
In my opinion Washington DC is a city with a great structure, nice buildings and a lot of interesting museums like the air and space museum or the postal museum.
It is not as busy as New York City so it was easy to enjoy a quiet weekend.
