Alejandra Arevalo tells us about her Colombian flag
I feel so proud of my country! Our flag has three beautiful primary colors: yellow represents all the gold found in Colombia. Blue represents the seas on Colombia’s shores. Red represents the blood spilled on the battlegrounds by heroes who gained Colombia’s freedom.
Colombia was crowned the happiest country in the world, and I want to invite everyone to visit my country. Our food, dancing and landscapes are breath-taking. We are lucky to have great biodiversity!
I made this dress thinking about the birds, freedom, happiness, nature, dancing and soccer.
