I celebrated the Chinese new year with all my friends at the Chinese new year parade in WashingtonDC. It was really fun because we saw dragon dance, Chinese music, bands and different activity from Chinese culture, and of course we can’t leave without eating the most popular fortune cookies. We really enjoyed it. It was so different for us! We never saw it in our country …
All my friends are Au pairs so we have different cultures. I am sending to you a picture from Chinese new year parade with my friends. On the left side are my friends from Bolivia and Colombia and the right side Mexico and 2 from Colombia too .. I am in the middle with the purple jacket and brown boots. I am from Costa Rica I have some Chinese friends but they are not living close to my house !!
