Meet Your Global Neighbor: Sponsored by Au Pair in America

Be Different! Host A Global Awareness Birthday Party!

by Gail Tomanelli Tags: , ,

Many au pairs have had fun with the children by hosting a Global Awareness Birthday Party!  The children learn about their “global neighbor” while celebrating their friend’s birthday.  The au pairs usually play a game that’s typically played at a party in their country, serve “birthday food” from their country, sing “happy birthday” in their native language, and do a craft that the children can bring home. In additi0n to meeting their global neighbor, the children get a little language lesson by learning how to give birthday wishes in the au pair’s native language!  each child receives a Global Awareness Passport and country flag sticker. Fun for all!  If you’d like to host a GA Birthday Party, contact one of the program developers at www.globalawareness.com
